Crown Hill Service Area
With parking in front, easy access to the bus line, and close proximity to several schools and family-friendly neighborhoods, Dr. Posthuma chose the Crown Hill location with convenience in mind. The Tooth Ferry Pediatric Dentistry is the only dedicated pediatric dentist in Crown Hill, making it the first choice for residents of adjacent neighborhoods like Olympic Manor, North Beach, and Broadview. Just a short drive from elementary schools Whittier, Viewlands, North Beach and Loyal Heights, our location makes it easy for parents to schedule after-school appointments. The Posthuma family are Sunset Hill residents and are active and involved in the local community.
Ballard Service Area
The Tooth Ferry is just a quick trip up Holman for Ballard residents! We’re particularly unique in this area because we accept all major insurances, including Premera, Delta Dental, and Cigna. As a smaller practice, our staff is also able to spend more time with each patient and proceed at that child's individual pace. Be sure to say hello next time you see The Tooth Ferry team busking at the Ballard Farmers Market, or the Posthumas out walking their family dog, Ruth, on the Burke Gilman.
Queen Anne Service Area
Beautiful Queen Anne is located just southeast of Ballard, making it just a quick drive away from The Tooth Ferry in Crown Hill.

We are conveniently located just a quick drive away from St. John School, Greenwood Elementary and Cascadia Elementary schools, making after school appointments a breeze.

The Tooth Ferry proudly serves families from Magnolia as an environmentally friendly and specialized pediatric practice. Though Magnolia residents have their choice of dentists, young families keep coming back to The Tooth Ferry due to the personalized care experience that is unique to our practice. We’re just a quick trip north up 15th over the Ballard Bridge, and we provide convenient dedicated parking spaces right in front of the practice to help make your trip as easy as possible.

After studying in Colorado and California, Dr. Posthuma is happy to be back in Seattle providing specialized, minimally invasive techniques to local families. Both born and raised in Seattle, Dr. Posthuma and her husband, Josh, love the area. Often taking advantage of the Seattle area’s beautiful outdoor recreation opportunities, Dr. Posthuma’s love for the outdoors is part of what inspired her to use only the highest standard of energy and water-saving equipment in our dental office — directly in line with Seattle’s environmentalist values.
